*Samira Mifatou Addrey is a 2020 graduate of the Latin American School of Medicine in Cuba (ELAM). She is currently working at IFCO/Pastors for Peace as the ELAM Scholarship Program Coordinator while completing the necessary requirements to apply for medical residency in the United States.
*Cheryl LaBash made her first trip to Cuba was in 1985 as a member of the executive board of her AFSCME Local in the city of Detroit. She has traveled to Cuba many times and contributes to national mobilization and legislative advocacy to end the U.S. economic, financial and commercial blockade of Cuba and writes on current Cuba related developments.
